Our
Story

My husband Randy was simply the most tender hearted human, especially when it came to animals. We had many community cats end up on our property and he cared for all of them. Together we fostered, adopted, fed, sheltered, trapped and fixed and loved on countless cats and kittens. When one of our indoor cats got missing, he searched tirelessly for weeks and weeks with no luck. It devastated him that we never found our sweet boy Jack. He loved animals and they loved him. He spent many an evening piled with an assortment of felines on or near him giving him as much as he gave them.

In November of 2025, for reasons that we will never know or understand, my husband took his life. We are beyond devastated trying to move forward without him. He was there for anything and everything his family ever needed and wanted.

Together with our kids, I am determined to honor his legacy with this nonprofit. We are registered with the state of Ohio and have 501c3 status. My initial goal is to help individuals access pets that fit their lifestyle and provide resources to help improve mental health.  We work with shelters and hope to help people that can benefit from the comfort and support of a pet. In addition to resources, we also will  provide grounding boxes for a concrete tool when in a mental health crisis.
